School Based Educational Models

  •   One-on-one instruction

This is a way of teaching in which each child has a teacher working with him or her. In this way, the unique needs of each child can be addressed by the teacher.

  •   Group instruction

This style of teaching is the traditional way of teaching, in which a teacher instructs a group of students in a classroom with a focus on differentiated instruction so that the needs of each student are met within the group setting.

Home Visit Program

With this program, teachers visit the homes of their students. The teachers work with the parents and families to help them teach their children the skills they need to become more independent in the home environment. This program helps to develop a positive relationship between the teachers and families so that they can work together to meet the needs of the children. Home visits are made once per month at a time that is convenient for each family. The visits are made in all areas of DIY and Central Java. During the 2008-2009 school year, ten students were served in the home visit program.
